Train Collision Tragedy: Rescue Operation Commences

In a tragic incident, the Coromandel Express train collided with a goods train in Odisha's Balasore, resulting in injuries to at least 179 passengers. The collision occurred near the Bahanaga railway station, causing four coaches of the express train to derail. Search and rescue operations are underway, with the Odisha government mobilizing resources including ambulances and buses to transport the injured to hospitals. An investigation has been initiated to determine the cause of the accident. The West Bengal government is also assisting in the rescue efforts by sending a team of experts.
