Former Mumbai NCB head Sameer Wankhede faced interrogation at the CBI office regarding an alleged ₹25 crore bribery case involving Aryan Khan's arrest. The Bombay High Court instructed the CBI not to arrest Wankhede, who is accused of demanding the bribe from Shah Rukh Khan to avoid charges against Aryan. Wankhede presented chats with SRK, where the superstar praised his integrity and requested kindness towards his son. Wankhede denies the allegations and claims the CBI's FIR against him was in retaliation for his complaint against NCB deputy director Gyaneshwar Singh. He also alleges that Aryan's name was dropped from the final complaint, replaced by an external draft.
