Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia expressed concern over Go First's insolvency, stating it's not favorable for the aviation industry. He emphasized the ministry's commitment to assisting the bankrupt airline. Go First extended the suspension of flight operations until May 26 due to operational reasons and aims to resume operations soon. The airline apologized for the inconvenience caused and assured passengers of full refunds. Scindia urged airlines to submit their plans to the DGCA, which will determine the next steps based on the number of planes and routes. The NCLT admitted Go First's insolvency plea, providing protection from lenders, while some lessors have appealed the decision. Additionally, a claim management portal has been launched for the CIRP of Go First.
