"India's Active Covid Cases Drop!"

India's active Covid cases decreased to 63,380, accounting for 0.14% of the total infections. The national recovery rate was at 98.67%, and the case fatality rate was 1.18%. 6,660 new cases and 24 deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, while the daily positivity rate and weekly positivity rate were 3.52% and 5.42%, respectively. India administered 220.66 crore Covid vaccine doses so far. Maharashtra recommends compulsory face mask use in hospitals, and AIIMS Delhi earmarks two beds in each of its 12 departments for seriously ill Covid patients.
