Jamshedpur Violence Over Flag

A clash broke out in Jamshedpur over a Ram Navami flag that was allegedly desecrated by some miscreants. The mobs threw stones and set fire to shops and vehicles. Police used teargas to control the situation and imposed prohibitory orders. Several people were detained and peace committee members were consulted.
