Pro-Khalistani Leader Arrested

Amritpal Singh, a pro-Khalistani leader, has been arrested under the National Security Act in a joint operation by the Punjab Police and national intelligence. He is being shifted to Assam's Dibrugarh jail, where his outfit members are already lodged. Two more aides of Singh were arrested earlier, and another close aid was arrested on April 10. Singh had been declared a “fugitive” in March after a massive manhunt was launched for him.
